I began playing guitar at around the age of 12 and
joined my first band at 16. During this period I
spent all my waking hours with my head welded to
my parents radiogram trying to understand what
the great players of the day were actually doing,
listening to bands such as Cream, Led Zeppelin,
Fleetwood Mac, Jimi Hendrix and, of course, The
Beatles. (I nearly said The Bay City Rollers but
suddenly remembered that they were a favorite of
my girl friend at the time……….the same girl friend
that later became Mrs. Bradley.

By the time I was 18, I was performing 4 to 5
nights a week all around the midlands in venues
like the Lincolnshire Air Force bases, working men's
clubs up and down M1 corridor and local dance
halls such as Mansfield Palais supporting all the
other great bands in the area….you may even
remember some of them.

At 19 I nearly turned professional but after much
deliberation decided to get a 'proper' job and joined
Carlsbro in Mansfield selling guitars, amps and
drums, the music shop that became a musicians
paradise and something of a legend way back in
the 60's and 70's. Music has always been at the
heart of my interests and I have been extremely
fortunate making many friends through the industry
and also performing with some of the best
musicians in the area, present company included. I
expect I'll carry on playing as long as Joe Public
continues to listen and while I can still manage to
lift the amp in and out of the car.

Thanks for taking the time and interest to read
about the band and I hope we can continue to
produce music that you will enjoy listening to as
much as we enjoy performing it.
